Sonnet III: The Woven Threads of Fate
Whenever one dips into any lake
Consecutive ringlets one will then make
Likewise from each action that is taken
Repercussions will always then break in-
to the threads which are all used to create
What is woven by the sisters of Fate.
If you wish for an impact of great size,
Will it best be accomplished if you die?
Seems to me you’re no good to yourself dead
So perhaps it is best to try instead
To choose the colors of die for the twine
And then to twist a Rope as you combine
The strings of not just one person’s actions,
But those of everyone—daughters and sons.
